Conviction Wins The Gold!

"The soulpreneur with the greatest conviction wins the gold!"

Conviction was a hard skill for me to grasp during the first few years of my business because I wanted to come across as open-minded, accepting and welcoming of other people's ideas and beliefs.

I feared that by sounding overly convinced about what I was talking about, that I’d come across as extremist and closed minded. Have you ever experienced this fear?

One thing I learned, however, as time progressed (and I struggled to make money and attract clients), is that it is impossible to spread an idea and grow a following if you don’t sound convinced about your subject matter.

If I was like, “ Most of the time it's best to build your brand before you launch the rest of your business, but if you don't want to, don't worry about it, just go with what works for you..."

OR

"Community is important, but if you're an introvert, or you just hate networking, then don't worry, you can find ways to stay home behind your computer and still build a successful brand."

Not very inspiring or motivating, right?

Would you want to work with me if I talked about branding like this?

Would you feel inspired to join Daring Divas if I stood in the middle of the road about community being important?

Probably not.

So here’s the deal: if you want to be the biz owner who attracts a tribe of devout followers... If you want to have more than enough clients to work with and never have to worry about where your money is coming from... then you MUST take a stand for your topic. You must know your beliefs around this topic and you must share them regularly.

The business owner with the greatest conviction wins the gold medal!
